Blazing ‘Knock Em’ Out’

Extraordinary cooperation’s between Student-Lecturers success ‘Knock Em’ Out’ Bowling Tournament.

SHAH ALAM: A bowling tournament has been held by a group of UNISEL Shah Alam student in line of completing the subject requirement that need them to held a bowling tournament “Knock Em’ Out” which located at Ole Ole Super Bowl, Ole Ole Shopping Centre Section 18 Shah Alam on 27^th May 2011.

The aim of the Bowling Tournament was to expose students on the real scenario of event management in line of strengthen the bond between students and lecturers. The tournament also views as a medium where student can express their ability to do an outside campus occasion.

The bowling tournament “Knock Em’ Out” success in receiving participation of the whole class and also the FCM staff which conclude nearly 90 participation.

As of the beginning of the tournament, Mr Nazri Yasin, Head Of The Program  (Bachelor Of Communication (Corporate Communication) gave a pre words about the important of student to involve in this kind of outside activity before the first throw being started.

According to “Knock Em’ Out” Program Manager Siti Fasihaa Shahron, the event was carefully planned for 1 month during the class time. The event take a short time resulted by the high caliber committee members that been chosen by the class them self.

“firstly we would like to thanks Mr Hasni Meon for his guidance till the event reach the success. The event went well, we were very delighted with number of participation, the venue and everything just went well,”Siti Fasihaa said. 

From my point of view, the subject we taken JCS 3183 Interpersonal Communication really help us in learning the right way to communicate, especially in this official occasion like this. This will be helpful for us in the future.

“From my opinion, I think the event firstly successful in strengthen the bond of friendship of the whole classes and also the lecturer. It should be done more often, or maybe we could make it compulsory for any students taking the subject,” Mohd Ariff Yusof said.

The event curtain down with the prize-giving ceremony by the lecturers of FCM which the Champion of ‘Knock Em’ Out’ bowling tournament won by FCM staff team head by Mr Hasni Meon.
